A.Schachter and Co. offers free Express courier for all orders in Singapore, no matter the order size. To make your A.Schachter and Co. purchasing experience hassle and stress-free, we also offer Free returns for all orders here in the Republic of Singapore!
 
Delivery times will vary depending on the item that you order. Some items will be ready for same-day delivery, other items may take up to 21 days to be shipped. We also offer the option to pick up your order from any of our showrooms here in the Republic of Singapore and overseas.

A.Schachter and Co. appreciates that amongst our many customers there are those purchasing items for special occasions such as a marriage proposal, birthday or anniversary gift etc. who may wish to keep their purchase a secret until the time is right. We are glad to assist you in having your items delivered, maintaining that ever so important element of surprise. Note: our free shipping for overseas orders is only for orders over $1,000 SGD. Orders below $1,000 SGD will incur a shipping cost of $80 SGD.
 
There may be potential delays due to factors, such as availability of our products, manufacturing time, or customs clearance for international orders.

Shipping Policies

For our customer’s protection, A.Schachter and Co. ensures:
 * Use of only couriers requiring a signature upon delivery.
* All shipping orders have tracking numbers.
* All orders are sent via express mail.
* All orders come with complimentary insurance.
* No customs fees or import duties within Singapore.

In the extremely unlikely event that your order is tampered with or lost during shipment, you will need to report this to A.Schachter and Co. within 7 days of receiving your tracking number.
 
Due to reasons regarding insurance, we cannot reroute packages after they have been shipped from A.Schachter and Co..

3. FREE 7 DAYS RETURN

Free 7 Days Return Policy

We give you peace of mind with every purchase as we offer a complimentary 7 day return policy. In the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 7 days for an exchange or full refund. The returned items must be in their original, unworn condition and accompanied by all the original documentation.

The 7 day return/exchange period will begin on the date that your order was collected from our showroom or delivered to you or the date of receipt of your order by mail - whatever comes first.
 
Requesting a refund must be in writing via email at: cs@a.schachterandco.com.

Exceptions To The Free 7 Days Return Policy

Personalized Nature
There are some exceptions to the free 30 days return policy. The following items are non-returnable due to their personalised nature: items that have been engraved, resized or modified, previously exchanged items and custom designed jewellery. Changes to orders currently in process will void the complimentary resize, return and exchange policies.

Custom Designed Rings
This policy does not apply to customers that choose us to custom design a items for them. Custom designed items are those that have to be specifically made for the client which are a different design to that listed on our website, such as our Bespoke items. These items fall outside the policy.
 
Multiple Returns/Exchanges
Customers may only make use of our 7-day return and exchange policy once within a 12-month period per product category (engagement rings, wedding rings, dress rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces).
 
Lower Diamond Quality
Due to the difficulty of resale for lower quality diamonds, we can not offer refunds or exchange on any diamonds that are H, I, J, K, L or M in colour and any diamonds that are I1 in clarity.
 Please make sure you choose carefully and if you are unsure about the colour/clarity of a lower grade diamond, it is best to visit our showroom to be able to see a diamond of that quality in person or visit a jewellery store so you get an idea of what a H, I, J, K, L or M colour diamond looks like.
 
Fancy Coloured Diamonds And Gems
Due to the unique nature of our Fancy coloured diamonds (Pink, Blue, Yellow) and GEMS (Emerald, Ruby, Rubellite, Safire, Tanzanite, etc), all sales will be final and no exchanges or returns will be permitted.
 
Men's Wedding Rings
We won't accept men's wedding rings returns.
 
If Your Order Was An Express Order- Then Express Fee Will Not Be Refunded

How To Return An Order

1. Contact us at cs@a.schachterandco.com to arrange for your order to be sent back to our head office. One of our helpful representatives will give you clear instructions on the process.
2. Return to one of our Singapore showrooms. You may return your item at any one of our showrooms across the country. Please send email us prior to visiting our showroom to make an appointment.
3. When returning by mail, all returns and exchanges must include all original packaging and accompanying materials, including the packing slip and all diamond certificates, if diamond certificates are not returned a fee of SG $180 will be deducted from the total refund amount.
4. Returns are the responsibility and at the cost of the purchaser. Please ensure to send the item back via registered post or by courier with a tracking number. Also make sure that is signature on delivery.
NOTE: We get charged 3.4% by our payment gateway (Stripe and others) for accepting cards. When we do refunds we get charged that amount regardless. This fee will be deducted from the returned amount. This is why we encourage our customers to use PayNow/Bank Transfer, this way we provide a 1.5% discount and in the event of a refund there is no lose of card fees.

4. FREE RESIZING

3 Months Free Resizing

At A.Schachter and Co., we offer one free resizing for the first 3 months from the date of the purchase. To arrange this service please contact us at cs@a.schachterandco.com or via chat on our website.
 
We have two options when requesting a resizing:
 
1. To have your ring size accurately measured, please make an appointment at our showrooms. Our master jewellers may take from 7 to 21 business days to resize your ring. 
2. Alternatively, you may contact our team to arrange for your ring to be posted back to us. In this case, you will need to be accurate about the new ring size you request. Only one complimentary resizing is granted for each purchase.
 
PLEASE NOTE: If the ring needs resizing more than 3 sizes +/-, it may incur an extra cost or the setting may need to be replaced altogether.
 
If your ring has an engraving, the resize will remove the engraving and it will need to be redone. A new engraving fee will be invoiced to you.

Some Rings Cannot Be Resized

Due to the design and fabrication of certain rings, some pieces can not be resized. This issue is more common with men's wedding bands which have bevelled edges, multiple parts or combinations of different coloured metals. Men's and ladies rings that have diamonds in them could also be problematic for resizing or limited to a certain number of sizes. Titanium and Black zirconium rings can also not be resized. Please check with our staff prior to placing your order to see if the ring you would like to purchase is possible to resize.
 
Prior to purchasing such a piece we would strongly recommend visiting our showrooms to try the design first, while guided by our professional and friendly colleague.
 
For returns from outside of Singapore, A.Schachter and Co. does not offer free shipping. Please contact our team to talk about the best options of resizing your ring. 

5. FREE LIFETIME Warranty & Cleaning

Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty

At A.Schachter and Co. we use the finest possible materials and elite workmanship, we take pride in this and it is what makes A.Schachter and Co. so special. All of our products are hand finished to the highest standards. Our aim for all our customers is that they receive a lifetime of enjoyment out of their jewellery. For this reason, every item we create will undergo a high-standard quality control test before being delivered.
 
Please contact us, if for any reason you believe your item has a manufacturing defect. One of our team members will analyse the possible error.
 
If it is determined that the defect/damage has not been caused by a manufacturing defect, we will notify you and let you know if repair services are available at a cost or otherwise.

Free Polish And Inspection Services On All Diamond Rings

We understand that jewellery and diamond jewellery in particular look a whole lot more beautiful when they are nice and clean. Bring your ring into any one of our showrooms for a free lifetime cleaning and inspection service. Please check which showroom is closest to you for this free service.

Conditions And Exclusions

You must be the original purchaser to utilise this service.
Certain things not covered by this warranty (but not limited to) are:
* Any damage or trauma caused to the ring.
* Discolouration caused by chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing.
* Prongs being damaged by trauma
* Overtime wear. (gold is a soft metal by nature and overtime may require building up).
* Worn out prongs or bent prongs, resulting in the stone falling out.

3 Month Free Complimentary Engraving

We offer our clients free engraving services within 3 monthS after purchase of our items.

7. Exclusive Redesign Services

Free Redesign Service

For each A.SchachterandCo.’s product, we offer a redesign services within 12 month after the purchase, in which customer will be exempt of the redesign fee.
 
For the case of redesign, an additional charges may apply for precious metals, spcialized craftmanship, or shipping fee.

8. Certified Excellence

Each piece of diamond or gem selected by A.Schachter and CO. is accompanied by internationally recognized certification, such as IGI, with full support for re-inspection. 
Certificates are provided for main stone diamonds of 1ct or larger.
